Popular Twitch streamer Christopher “Jay3” Pavloff brought his dad to tears on stream yesterday after revealing that he’d paid off his family’s debt.
The Overwatch 2 streamer, who has 556K followers on Twitch at the time of writing, teased on Twitter yesterday (28 June) that he was “about to share one of my biggest accomplishments”. He said: “The one reason I wanna do it on stream is because you guys are considered my family. I consider you guys my family. Everyone that knows me, [knows that] I don’t really have a big family - it’s my dad and my brother, that’s all I have. So I wanna share this experience with you guys.”

As Dexerto reports, during the stream, Pavloff invited his dad to sit down and close his eyes so that he could surprise him with an envelope, which inside revealed that the debt had been paid off.

The moment he was handed the envelope, he began to get emotional: “I don’t even want to open it,” he said. When he eventually saw what was inside, he was stunned.
“What? No way, who did this?” his dad questioned. “We did,” Pavloff replied.
On Twitter, Pavloff extended his heartfelt thanks to fans for their support, and for making it possible to pay off the debt: “Just want to say thank you to everyone who supports me day in and day out,” he wrote. “Never thought I’d be able to pay off my family’s debt in my life and I appreciate it. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
