DrLupo Absolutely Destroys Fan During AOC 'Among Us' Stream

DrLupo didn't hold back during AOC's recent Among Us stream.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York's fourteenth district recently took to Twitch to play Among Us with a bunch of popular streamers and fellow politicians. While that sounds like a recipe for disaster on paper, it was actually a massive success with plenty of wholesome fun.

Despite being a keen League Of Legends player, Ocasio-Cortez had never played Among Us before the stream, and there were a lot of laughs to be had watching her bumble and fumble her way through the game as she worked to sleuth out the killers. Throughout the night she was able to rake in an impressive 439,000 concurrent viewers on her own Twitch channel, as she was joined by the likes of Hasan Piker, Pokimane, Dr Lupo, Hbomberguy, Disguised Toast, Moistcr1tikal, Myth, Mxmtoon, and Jacksepticeye.

The point of the night wasn't to encourage viewers to vote for Ocasio-Cortez's party or come around to her way of thinking. The point was to have some fun and, hopefully, get viewers to register to vote. Oscasio-Cortez herself didn't bring up her own party's politics at any time. She didn't even interrupt the stream to talk about voting, instead leaving a chat bot to occasionally remind viewers to register and vote. Only at the end of the stream did she briefly stress the importance of voting, and even then added that who people vote for is their own business.

Despite this, both Oscasio-Cortez and the streamers she'd teamed up with had to deal with the occasional comment criticizing her political beliefs and the fact that politics were intruding on their video games once again. While the vast majority of these comments were brushed off or ignored for the sake of keeping things light and friendly, it was DrLupo who took particular issue with one critic who was banned for trolling the chat.

"What she wants will ruin America and that nice income you have going," read a comment during DrLupo's own stream. "To be banned after 28 months of support and actually having met you, and my daughter and son love you, is kind of BS." As you can see from the video below, DrLupo was particularly offended by the assumptions this viewer made in regards to his financial preferences, and proceeded to tear into them.

"You don't have any idea about my financial situation or what I would prefer, so chill," DrLupo started. "You looking me at me and saying 'f**k you and f**k your friends' after everything I've done for this channel? After everything I've done for people that watch this? After everything from my income that I've given away that you don't even f**king know about?

"To have you come in here and say 'f**k you and f**k your friends' to f**cking me bro? You can go f**k yourself. I hope your son and daughter enjoy the stream and continue to watch... or if you're a sh*thead parent and you cut them out of this channel just because I played with someone that you don't like, you f**king baby... you can go f**k yourself chief. F**k you, I will never unban you."

So yeah... DrLupo did not hold back. I guess the moral of today's story is that you shouldn't imply a guy who has raised millions for charity would vote using his wallet. Or that people should be able to play video games together regardless of political beliefs and leave all that stuff at the door. Why not both? Both is good.
