PewDiePie’s ‘infinite’ new Twitch stream is already causing controversy, leaving some fans quite confused as to what’s going on.
PieDiePie, real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg used to be the world’s top YouTuber before he was knocked off this perch by arch nemesis, T-Series, the latter of which has a mind-blowing 239 million subscribers. T-Series is top of the overall charts with the most subscribers as a brand company.
In terms of individuals (though they can still be considered as a brand), MrBeast is in 4th place with over 138 million subscribers and PewDiePie with over 111 million subscribers in 5th place. Cocomelon and Sony Entertainment Television India take 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

While not as active as it once was, PewDiePie’s YouTube channel uploads new content roughly every couple of weeks with over 4,700 thousand videos. What’s more, some might not know this, due to being inactive for years, is that PewDiePie also has a Twitch channel.
As reported by Sportskeeda.com, PewDiePie’s Twitch channel has suddenly sprung to life in an odd way, leaving his fans somewhat bemused and even questioning whether his Twitch channel has been hacked.
So, what’s going on with the popular YouTuber's Twitch channel? Well, the Twitch channel is uploading old clips on an endless loop. Which to me seems like a humorous troll move by Pewds.
“PewDiePie has launched a Twitch stream called "PewDiePie infinity", that endlessly plays every one of his videos on a loop,” tweeted director of content at NRG, Seth Fowler. “With over 4000 Youtube videos posted, and over 3000 hours of content total, kind of an infinite money glitch.”

If I was going to take a guess, it seems that this was a very deliberate and smart business move by recycling thousands of hours of old content, while still earning Twitch ad revenue and subscriptions. It’s pretty much a guaranteed money maker by just having to clip ready-made content.

It seems that PewDiePie has partnered with CoPilot, an online media licensing and management company that helps content creators to run their channels.
As shared by Twitter user DatGundamXD, a Twitch stream ended with a comment by CoPilotMedia that reads: “PewDiePie ∞ will return in a few hours. There was no hack. This is an official channel. That was a quick beta test. Back in a bit.”

At the time of writing, PewDiePie’s Twitch channel has over 1.5 million followers and it’s unclear what the long-term plans are for the channel. As of right now, the channel description reads: “By popular request, you can now watch my vids on a forever loop. LMK what you think. (This is an official rerun channel. This channel plays old PewDiePie videos 24/7/365/∞).”
At least for the immediate future, it we’re getting old recycled clips on an endless loop. That being said, it could be Pewds testing the waters on Twitch to see if this is a viable money-making alternative to YouTube. Only time will tell.
