Far Cry meets Valheim in epic free 40 hour long survival game demo

Far Cry meets Valheim in epic free 40 hour long survival game demo

This new survival game demo is 40 hours long, and is perfect for fans of Far Cry.

If you like survival games, you're going to want to check out this incredible new 40-hour long demo that's perfect for Far Cry fans.

It’s called Soulmask, and it's a gorgeous and enormous open world game that’ll test your survival skills like no other. It picks from elements found in games and franchises like Far Cry, Valheim, The Forest and many more, all while giving players a unique RPG-like experience.

Check out Soulmask below.

Things will start off as they usually do in these survival games. You’ll begin your adventure with nothing as your forage for supplies and learn the basics of crafting. As you progress, you’ll build more and more tools and gear to assist you in your survival.

You’ll build bases, and start little communities as you recruit tribespeople to fight for you and scour the land for more useful materials. Combat will seemingly be a huge part of the game too, as there will apparently be eight different weapon styles and 58 combat skills to choose from, which adds a nice bit of variety for when you’re running around slaying creatures.

Now if you’re keen to check the game out for yourself you can do so through a free demo. That top line is no exaggeration either, as the full demo is longer than some AAA games. As reported by PCGamesN, the demo will carry through around 30 in-game levels as you explore, build and get a feel for everything Soulmask has to offer.

The demo is part of the The Soulmask Steam Next Fest which can obviously be found on Steam. The full game is set for release sometime this year, though an exact date hasn’t been shared by the developers at the time of writing.

If you want to give Soulmask a go don’t hesitate to download the free demo, and if you like what you play be sure to add it to your wishlist on Steam for updates on its launch date.
