The Last Of Us fans have 24 hours to grab this free PC game

Act now as if your life depends on it

Normally, when free games pop up they stick around for a few days at least, but with this deal, you’ll need to be much quicker than that because this freebie is only available for 24 hours.

Fans of The Last of Us will appreciate the hard-hitting, dark story of A Plague Tale: Innocence as the game was said to be inspired by the Last of Us franchise and other titles like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

“Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history,” reads its description. “Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.”

Return to the drama of the franchise with A Plague Tale: Requiem

At its heart is a tale of family and love, but it holds little warmth when faced with swarming rats, angry Inquisition soldiers, and a bleak landscape ravaged by the plague. It’s a fantastic experience, one which yielded countless high scores upon its release. Yet, we’d argue, its legacy hasn’t been as impactful as TLOU, which is a darn shame.

“The story is simply more rich than TLOU,” said one die-hard fan, before adding that they don’t wish any shade cast of TLOU. This immersive title can be yours to keep, for absolutely free, provided you head over to the Epic Games store before 4 PM on 4 January.

This version of the game is available for PC gamers only, with Epic making no mention of it being iOS-compatible. Of course, if you want to play the game elsewhere, you easily can, however, it’ll cost you. Fortunately, PS players can currently buy it at a heavily reduced price, but no reduction will ever beat it being free.

Don’t miss out on this incredible deal, otherwise you’ll regret it later down the line.
