Ghost Of Tsushima 2 leaks ahead of official announcement

Ghost Of Tsushima 2 leaks ahead of official announcement

Ghost of Tsushima 2 feels like it's getting closer everyday

After the success of Ghost of Tsushima, there was no doubt in our minds that a sequel would get made. However, an official announcement hasn’t been made yet.

A recent leak, however, has seemingly revealed that Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be announced later this year at the PlayStation Showcase. The leak in question – which has now disappeared from Twitter – comes from a source who revealed the specs of the Horizon Forbidden West PC port.

We could watch the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut all day – it's stunning!

The OP who shared the now-deleted tweet seems to feel confident that this leaker is accurate. They’re not alone, with one post reading, “This seems like good speculation tbh. I assume Ghost of Tsushima would come to PC the same time or year Ghost of Tsushima 2 would be revealed. Builds hype.”

But not everyone is convinced.

“Alright, who is this guy? Never heard of him, barely has any followers, kinda came out of nowhere,” said Turbostrider27 in response to those quick to believe. “Do they have a solid track record outside the ‘Horizon Forbidden West PC news’ that was announced today?”

The same poster also added for everyone to take “his tweets with a grain of salt until we know how ‘credible’ he is”. It’s a wise move, one we agree with. Although we suspect that Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be hitting PlayStation 5 sooner than we’d expected, that doesn’t automatically mean an announcement is imminent.

We understand the hype for this sequel – the original is an “actual masterpiece” in the eyes of many, so much so that the idea of no sequel isn’t plausible. Such love for the first game is fuelling our need for a second.

Nevertheless, until an official announcement we really should proceed with caution, otherwise we could end up with another overhyped situation like when Rockstar Games teased GTA VI gamers for months before the trailer actually dropped.

Keep your eyes peeled and your wits sharp; you need all your senses alert for when the announcement does comes.
