Ghost Of Tsushima is still the PS5's best-looking game, fans say

Ghost of Tsushima is a work of art

Throughout the years we have been blessed with a plethora of amazing video games offering compelling stories, fun gameplay, an immersive world, stunning visuals and everything else in between. In recent memory, Ghost of Tsushima ticks all those boxes.

Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, Ghost of Tsushima was originally released for the PlayStation 4 in 2020 before arriving on the PlayStation 5 the following year as a ‘Director’s Cut’ boasting an improved resolution, performance as well as a host of other bonus features.

In our review of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on PS5, we said it’s: “undoubtedly the definitive way to experience Sucker Punch's open-world samurai adventure. Improved loading times, enhanced resolutions, smoother frame rates, and a slew of brand-new content make the 2020 game shine in new ways. More than that though, it's given me the chance to reassess a video game that I just previously couldn't see the adoration for.”

There has been talk of Ghost of Tsushima 2 being on the way as suggested by several job listings at Suck Punch Productions that all but confirm the sequel. However, until that time may or may not arrive, we at least have a live-action adaptation to look forward to. What’s more, the actor that starred in the video game, wants to reprise his role as Jin Sakai in the movie.

While fans wait for the potential sequel, Reddit users have been discussing the beauty of this action-adventure open-world PlayStation exclusive. “Just got my PS5 and fell in love with Ghost of Tsushima,” said OrdinaryTruck5559. “What a great game, beautiful landscape. First game I’ve fallen in love with since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I’ve played this decade. Nothing but fond memories,” said Opposite-Mall4234. “That game is a work of art,” replied GovernmentSlight8854. “That opening scene riding through the grass and the sun shining! I was smiling ear to ear,” said a joyous MostWanted29. “I'm replaying it and it's such a beautiful, well-rounded game in every way,” exclaimed OneHallThatsAll.

If for whatever reason you haven't played Ghost of Tsushima, I couldn't recommend it enough. If you subscribe to either PS Plus Extra or Premium, it's included in Sony’s subscription service. Ghost of Tsushima is out now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
