The PlayStation 6 may still be at least half a decade away, but it looks as if we already know what game to expect from the next-gen console.
Those who pay attention to this kind of thing will no doubt remember how official court documents released as part of the Activision Blizzard fight between Sony and Microsoft suggest a 2027 release date for the next PlayStation.

On page 8 of the 22-page document, it's claimed by Sony that Microsoft had “offered to continue making Activision’s games available on PlayStation only until 2027.”

The document continues: “By the time SIE launched the next generation of its PlayStation console (which is likely to occur around [redacted]), it would have lost access to Call of Duty and other Activision titles, making it extremely vulnerable to consumer switching and subsequent degradation in its competitiveness.”
The PlayStation 6 is obviously a foregone conclusion, but what's not is which exclusive franchise will kick off the console's first year. According to recent reports, it might actually be none other than The Last Of Us Part 3.
Recent reports suggest that a sequel to The Last Of Us Part 2 is indeed in development, and that it's actually being developed with the next PlayStation console in mind. Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann also recently had a very cheeky response to a question about The Last Of Us Part 3, which many took as a hint the next game is in development.
Looking at what we already know, it's actually not out of the question for The Last Of Us Part 3 to miss PlayStation 5 and go right to PlayStation 6.

The Last Of Us launched back in 2013, and it wasn't until 2020 - seven years later - that we got The Last Of Us Part 2. Assuming we're looking at another seven year wait for the next game in the series, that would bring us to 2027 - the rumoured release date for the PlayStation 6.
It's possible, of course, that The last Of Us Part 3 could release on PS5 and PS6 - not unlike God Of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West - but considering the increased development times on major releases in this day and age, it'd be more surprising if The Last Of Us Part 3 wasn't being developed with the next PlayStation in mind.
