PlayStation Plus free games for March already dividing fans

PlayStation Plus free games for March already dividing fans

Can't we all just get along

After a January that seemed to go on for approximately eight years, February has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Of course, as one month dies another rises to take its place - and new PlayStation Plus free games arrive with it.

I think we can all agree February's lineup was... okay? I dunno, people always get mad about something, but I liked it.

The current PlayStation Plus offering of free games include indie darling Rollerdrome, action-RPG Steel Rising, and brand-new online shooter Foamstars. Probably one of the most original months we've seen in a long time, and Foamstars seems to be going down quite well.

Anyway, with the PlayStation Plus free games for March set to be announced next week, subscribers are once again trying to divine what we can expect from the service. And, as always, nobody can seem to agree on what we're getting.

At present the top comment comes from one of the PlayStation Plus subreddit's "top predictors", and to be honest, if they're right, March is looking likely to be a great month. They posit we'll be getting Sonic Frontiers, action-RPG Forspoken, and indie hit Cult Of The Lamb. While it's worth noting this is purely guesswork, that would be one of the best months we've had in a long time. Heck, even if we only get one of those three games, we're in for a treat.

Elsewhere in the thread subscribers are hoping for Dead Island 2, which recently hit Xbox Game Pass. I would argue the zombie slaying sim's appearance on Microsoft's subscription service makes it much less likely to land on PlayStation Plus, but certainly not impossible.

Other popular picks include Sifu and Resident Evil 3. We'll find out for sure what the PlayStation Plus free games for March are next week, so stay tuned.
