PlayStation Plus free games for November 2023 are off to a rough start

PlayStation Plus free games for November 2023 are off to a rough start

It's been confirmed that seven games are set to leave PlayStation Plus during November.

It won’t be long before we find out what PlayStation Plus’ November essential tier drop consists of but in the meantime, we have discovered which freebies will be leaving the service’s extra and premium tier catalogues next month, marking seven losses in total.

Allow me to bring you up to speed. PlayStation Plus’ October extra and premium offerings are available to download now, with highlights including: Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, Alien Isolation, and Dead Island: Definitive Edition. A respectable 15 games joined the service in total, and it was a pretty decent line-up on the whole. Add in the premium tier’s new cloud streaming option and the addition of the Sony Pictures Core catalogue, and things are slowly looking up after a few rocky months for PlayStation Plus following the recent price hike. That doesn’t mean we’re thrilled to see these seven games depart the service though.

Take a look at Gotham Knights in action below.

As reported by TrueTrophies, seven games will depart PlayStation Plus’ extra and premium tiers on Tuesday 21 November, so you only have just under one month to enjoy these ‘free’ gems. ‘Free’ because, yes, I respect that you’re paying a subscription. The games leaving are My Time at Portia, Connectank, Dandara Trials of Fear Edition, Ace of Seafood, Momodora Reverie Under The Moonlight, Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Director’s Cut, and Wild Guns.

If you’re sitting there thinking, ‘Meh, no major losses there,’ I’d say hang on a minute. There are a couple of gems you should check out before it’s too late. My Time at Portia is a delightful life-sim / RPG. You’ll take on the role of a young builder who must expand the city of Portia following a destructive event. Admittedly, it could take you up to 70 hours to complete the game, so you’ve got your work cut out, but I’ll still recommend it nonetheless.

Ace of Seafood is also pretty fun. In this online action game, you’ll form a party of up to six fish or crustaceans, scavenging the sea for other life forms. It’s open-world - oh and you can shoot anything with a magical laser beam because why not? Remember, you only have until 21 November.
