The map size for Red Dead Redemption 2 is absolutely massive, but it gets even bigger when you add Mexico as an explorable location.

Check out who the Fallout TV show cast would snog, marry and kill in the wastelands via the below interview!

This can’t usually be done in the base game, but with the wonderful world of mods, anything is possible.

If you download the Dock to Mexico mod, you’ll be able to seamlessly travel to and from the state next door as Arthur Morgan or John Marston, both of which are younger than you’d expect them to be.

Simply put, the mod builds a bridge across a river to Mexico that you cross either on foot or on your horse.

Why you would actually want to go to Mexico is another question entirely, as unlike the first game there really isn’t anything to do once you’re there.

Some other mods fix this by importing assets from the first game, or creating new ones to give the area new life, even implementing it into the story with some side missions.

For the most part though Mexico in Red Dead Redemption 2 is just an unfinished land mass, but having the option to ride across on your horse is a cool option nonetheless.

In other news, there’s been a lot of discussion recently about the Red Dead Redemption games being adapted into live-action films.

Film icon Jack Black has expressed interest in one being made, and fan casts are suggesting Mads Mikkelsen could play an excellent Arthur Morgan on the big screen.

Unfortunately the future of the Red Dead Redemption series is unknown at the time of writing, as Rockstar Games is pouring everything into its next big release, GTA VI.
