Steam gamers, you have less than 24 hours to grab free store credit

Don't hang about if you want the chance to win some free dosh

Gamers of Steam, you have less than 24 hours to get some free store credit to spend on the platform – provided you’re lucky enough, that is.

Once again, we bring news from far and wide that there’s a Steam giveaway currently running that’s giving away $20 worth of free credit. Now, while not big bucks, that’ll easily buy you an indie game or two, meaning it’s not to be sniffed at.

Don't miss out on watching the Palworld trailer – everyone is talking about it!

But there’s a slight problem, besides the obvious fact that only one person can win: this competition is on a strict deadline. A deadline set for 23 January. As it’s the 22 Jan today, we’re not exaggerating when we say the clock is ticking on this one.

To enter into the giveaway, you need to follow three very simple but precise steps. Firstly, you need to follow Free Steam Games and Gacriva Studio on Twitter. Secondly, you need to join the playtest Discord linked in the giveaway tweet, before creating and posting a new character. And thirdly, you need to retweet and like the post.

Just in case you need a reminder on those details, the tweet is below.

There are plenty of PC games to choose from on Valve’s platform, not least of all being the viral sensation Palworld. Alongside this three million plus strong fandom game, there’s also other titles crying out to be played as well, like a Fable meets Skyrim RPG we suspect most of you have missed.

We’re not fussed about what you spend your free store credit on – should you be lucky enough to win it – we’re only concerned about you entering the competition before it ends. You have until tomorrow, folks, so if you’re going to enter this giveaway, now is the time to act to avoid regret, fomo, and disappointment.
