The Elder Scrolls 6 and Far Cry Primal come together in new open world RPG

The Elder Scrolls 6 and Far Cry Primal come together in new open world RPG

A new open-world RPG beckons, but can you survive it?

There are a lot of upcoming games that are demanding our attention lately, and while all eyes are on a specific franchise right now, we want to draw your attention to a new open-world RPG that marries together two well-known series.

If you’ve always wondered what The Elder Scrolls 6 and Far Cry Primal would look like if they came together to form a new game, Primitive is what you’d get. This upcoming title intends to introduce you to the “brutal reality of the Stone Age”, not just through the challenges of wild animals and the terrain, but through its breathtaking graphics.

See the brutality of Primitive for yourself in the official trailer!

It holds a lot of promise, with this Steam title having been developed using Unreal Engine 5. We’re no stranger to the gorgeous capabilities of the engine, with many fan-favourite remakes also heralding from the same creative pool.

Primitive has been on some gamers’ radars for a long time, with its official trailer having first dropped in 2022. However, since then little information has trickled through about the title, leaving us frustrated and in need of more details; the hype is there, but it’s simmering below the surface because, as of now, there’s no release date for us to look forward to.

Still, while it’s not ready to launch yet, Primitive will help you sate that survival first-person RPG itch you have, especially during the drawn-out years it’ll take for us to finally get Elder Scrolls 6. As Bethesda has reminded us of late, that game won’t be out any time soon, which has led some fans to slam the devs for announcing it so early.

With lots of gamers saying that they “love” Far Cry Primal, this is a great time to keep an eye on Primitive. Who knows, if the PC version proves to be as intense as the devs promise, it could end up getting released elsewhere. That being said, our consoles are already brimming with titles, so it might be best if it stays as a Steam game for now.
