Palworld and Xbox will be working together much more closely from now on, as the developers aim to expand and improve the port.
After selling over 19 million copies on Steam in such a short time, it seems Palworld is pretty much unstoppable at this point. Despite receiving shots from critics that it’s too similar to Pokémon, the fans love it, and are defending it from anyone who speaks negatively about it.

While its primary audience lives on PC, you can currently play it at no additional cost on Xbox if you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. It’s been noted that the quality of the Xbox version is inferior to that of the PC version of the game, but it seems like that’s about to change.

Aside from the upcoming roadmap of content, it’s been confirmed that the Palworld team will be working with Xbox to ensure the console version of the game is improved and expanded for a better overall experience.
This includes creating dedicated servers, regularly updating the game to make sure it matches the PC version, and optimising it to bolster performance and cut back on bugs and glitches that affect gameplay.

This is great news for fans that supported the game when it came to Xbox Game Pass. In fact, the game was so highly anticipated that it quickly became the third biggest launch on Microsoft’s subscription service ever, which is no small feat.
New content on its way to the game includes more Pals, expansions to crafting and building, graphic enhancements, and potentially a PvP mode, though the developers believe it’ll be difficult to implement.
Palworld is currently available on PC via Steam, as well as Xbox Series X/S via Xbox Game Pass. There is currently no PlayStation 5 version of the game though it’s rumoured to be on the way.
