Xbox gamers can play a former PlayStation exclusive for free

If you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you’ll soon gain free access with your subscription to the former PlayStation exclusive Rollerdrome.

Developed by Roll7 and published by Private Division, Rollerdrome was released back in August 2022 to PlayStation 4/5 and PC - and let me tell you, it is utterly delightful. You assume the role of Kara Hassan, a participant in the deadly Rollerdrome sport, where players must roller skate whilst simultaneously shooting at their opponents. In our review, we rated the game a nine, writing, “It’s an incredible sport and action game, with fun lore pieces to ponder while you’re not catching air, grinding lips and shotgunning opponents. To put it simply, don’t miss out on Rollerdrome.”

On Metacritic, the game landed a respectable score of 81 on PC and 79 on PlayStation 5. Now, over one year after its release, Rollerdrome is finally set to land on Xbox consoles. It’ll be a day one Game Pass release, launching on 28 November or alternatively, you can purchase it for $29.99 if you don’t happen to be a Game Pass subscriber.

It’s not the only great game landing on Game Pass. Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, Jusant, Wartales, and Thirsty Suitors are all available to play now - plus Football Manager 2024 also lands today. Dungeons 4 and Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will then follow on 9 November.

Wild Hearts drops on EA Play on that day too, followed by the addition of Spirittea to Game Pass on 13 November, followed by Coral Island on 14 November. The latter two games are giving major cosy vibes - perfect for this time of year. All in all, there’s so much to enjoy.
