PlayStation Plus subscribers benefit from a ton of fun perks. This month alone, a bunch of new titles were added to the various tiered catalogues including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Little Nightmares, Bugsnax, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon plus several Yakuza games. For one weekend only though, it looks like PS Plus subscribers won’t be the only ones having all the fun as Sony are treating all PlayStation owners to a limited-time treat.

Between 27 and 28 August, Sony are hosting an Online Multiplayer Weekend which basically means that PlayStation owners who aren’t subscribed to PlayStation Plus will be able to trial and experience some of the service's perks.

As I’m sure you’ve guessed from the name, the main perk of the weekend is that everyone will be able to access online multiplayer titles which typically require a PS Plus subscription. There are no set titles on which you utilise this perk. Sony cited GTA V, 2K22 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as a few examples but my personal recommendation? Get yourselves on Fall Guys my beans.
Of course, this isn’t simply a nice gesture. I’m sure the hope is that you’ll love the multiplayer weekend so much that you’ll finish it off with a PS Plus subscription but still, it’s a nice trial if you’ve always been unsure on whether to splash the cash so make the most of it.
