Red Dead Redemption meets The Last Of Us in new survival horror

Red Dead Redemption meets The Last Of Us in new survival horror

Another post-apocalyptic survival is on the cards

If there’s one thing that games do very well, it’s a post-apocalypse setting. It’s an exciting way to play games, in a world being strangled by its own doom.

Nobody’s Left is an upcoming third-person shooter set in a post-war city where everyone is struggling to survive. Once a peaceful city, you play as a man trying to protect his way of life by any means necessary. As blurb for the game says, the city has “no rules but the rules of the jungle.”

The Last of Us 2 is seeing a remaster very soon

Combining stealth and all-out action, Nobody’s Left is clearly wearing its inspirations on its sleeve, with a style of gameplay made famous with The Last of Us and its sequel. The big difference here is that our protagonist seems to be a traditional cowboy too, so we’re getting major Red Dead Redemption vibes.

It seems the developers are aiming for a realistic shooter, particularly with the way guns are handled. There is no aim-assist for ease of use, making each gun feel very unique. This will add an extra layer of challenge in an already difficult world. While it seems you won’t be hunting down zombies, the enemies look to be packing some serious heat and present a very real danger. Each situation will force you to think on your feet when handling the threats around you.

Interestingly, it seems the story will play out as you find certain items and artifacts throughout your adventure. Finding each piece of the puzzle will answer burning questions you’ll have about the world and the war that has left everyone feeling lost.

From what we see on the Steam page, the game will offer a very brutal experience, with plenty of gore bumping up the age rating. This looks to be shaping up well and will see a release soon. How soon, we have no idea, so keep your fingers crossed for more details soon.
