Star Wars: Force Unleashed fans are desperate to see Starkiller in a live-action movie.

Starkiller is easily one of the coolest Star Wars characters out there, so it’s no surprise really that fans are desperate to see him drafted into a mainline Star Wars project.

If this is the first you’re hearing of Starkiller, allow me to bring you up to speed. Born Galen Marek, Starkiller was a force-sensitive youngling taken by Darth Vader during the reign of the Galactic Empire. After Marek’s Jedi parents were murdered, Vader kidnapped the child and raised him as his personal apprentice and assassin. The character was eventually betrayed by Vader and left for dead. It’s a pretty tragic tale.

Ahsoka debuts in August. Take a look at the trailer below.

The character isn’t officially canon yet, instead existing in the Star Wars Legends universe. Most notably, he appeared in the classic game Star Wars: Force Unleashed. That’s not to say that the character can’t be drafted into the main fold. Grand Admiral Thrawn was originally a Legends character. Not only did he play a key role in the canonical Star Wars: Rebels, he’ll soon star in the live-action Ahsoka.

Manifestation is powerful. For years, fans begged to see Cad Bane on screen and we finally got that moment in The Book of Boba Fett (even if the character was somewhat wasted). Next up, fans finally want Starkiller - and it should really happen. The character holds so much potential. Twitter user dyingscribe wrote, “I’d be way more into Star Wars if they did more s**t like Starkiller in the movies.”

Grrted added, “Starkiller was the peak, this s**t was too cool,” while AnthxnyEffxct added, “Starkiller is such an amazing character. Really want him to appear in a movie or series at some point.” Luckily, Dave Filoni nerds out over these characters just as much as we do, so hopefully something is in the works.
