After a rough start, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has done exceptionally well, already amassing millions of players a week after launch.
EA recently celebrated the highly-rated sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, reportedly being “overjoyed” by the follow-up's success. The CEO, Andrew Wilson spoke about the game during a monthly earnings call, and commended the development team, Respawn, for doing such a good job with Cal Kestis’ next adventure, calling the achievement “a very strong launch.”
Wilson stated: “Within the first few weeks, millions of players have joined Cal Kestis and BD-1 in their rebellion against the Empire.

The Star Wars title wasn’t without its controversies though, facing a variety of problems at launch across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms. Not only were there some severe bugs and glitches costing players time and resources but there was also a whole heap of performance issues too, leading to review bombs.
EA has pledged to fix the current issues, with many being ironed out by a recent patch, however, the developers have said they’ll likely be weeks of updates before everything problem has been solved.

Jedi: Survivor follows the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis and his friends, as they travel the galaxy in an attempt to thwart The Empire wherever possible. Cal has grown a lot since his first outing in Jedi: Fallen Order, now wielding a wider variety of force powers, as well as some flashy new lightsaber moves and stances. We gave the sequel a 9/10 in our review, stating it’s the “best Star Wars game in a very long time.”
Despite its problems, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a solid game in the series, and definitely a step in the right direction for single-player Star Wars, and fans are already calling for more.
