The state of the video games community is depressing right now, at least in terms of employees; we seemingly can’t go a single day without more layoffs. It’s sad to see, especially when such promising games are being released and/or in the pipeline.
Thankfully, there is a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, coming at a time when publishers like Ubisoft really need a win to help combat the toxic image that’s been put out there now morale is low and layoffs are king.
Despite Assassin’s Creed Mirage reportedly being on target compared with previous AC titles, it’s only accumulated five million sales, according to Insider Gaming. Considering that Palworld has crushed that amount with ease in the first week of release, says a lot about the state of things.

Our bags are packed and our engines are fully fuelled up – it's almost time for Star Wars Outlaws.
Luckily, the win we referred to earlier is Star Wars Outlaws, a game that Star Wars fans have been keeping an eye on since its announcement. Having recently learnt about the significance of your reputation and how it’ll alter the story of the game, we’re almost shaking with excitement at the prospect of doing several playthroughs as both good and bad protagonists.
Hopefully, those shakes won’t have to plague us for long because, according to the publisher, Star Wars Outlaw is destined to release sooner than expected. After witnessing delays for Skull and Bones for what feels like the 100th time, as well as the delayed launch of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, we've been doubtful about this launch. However, Ubisoft is reportedly on target to release the upcoming RPG at some point during Q1 and Q2 2024.

The announcement could come any day now. However, while Ubisoft hasn’t alerted anyone to a delay just yet, the fact that so many of its other titles have been delayed makes us worry the first half of 2024 is a generous estimation.
When Star Wars Outlaws does launch, though, it’s be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
