Hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys is officially coming to the big screen, god help us all.

The Boys made its debut on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and since that time, it’s been one of the most popular TV shows of this generation. Inspired by characters from the Marvel and DC universes, with added crude humour and over-the-top gore, The Boys tells the tale of misfits, anti-heroes and corrupt corporations in a world in which those with unnatural abilities are worshipped to a fault.

At the time of writing, The Boys season three has concluded and fans are now eagerly awaiting the fourth season, expected to arrive sometime in late 2023 on Amazon’s streaming platform.

As reported by The Verge, Amazon will be hosting a two-day marathon screening of The Boys season three at its own Culver Theater (formerly an ArcLight/Pacific theatre) in downtown Culver City, United States.

The Boys season three marathon will take place on Friday 28 April and Saturday 29 April and will consist of all eight episodes on the big screen. The marathon will also include a Q&A with the cast and executive producers in celebration of National Superhero Day. As a heads up, the Q&A will take place on Friday, but not on Saturday.

“Fans can enjoy free popcorn, octopus gummies, and plenty of free sh*t to win throughout both days, as well as a drop-in Q&A with series cast and executive producers for those attending on Friday,” reads a press release shared by The Verge. “Cosplay is encouraged for this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see that urethra scene and the fan-favourite episode Herogasm on the big screen.”

You can register for tickets for The Boys season three marathon here. However, be warned, tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. So you’ll need to get in there quickly to avoid missing out.

In related news, ahead of The Boys season four, the “craziest sh*t that’s legally allowed” on TV has been teased as well as the apparent confirmation of season five.
