The Witcher meets Skyrim in this perfect free RPG adventure

The Witcher meets Skyrim in this perfect free RPG adventure

Worlds collide

Who doesn't love striking out across a gorgeous fantasy world in search of adventure? I know I do, which is why I've spent countless hours exploring both The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Skyrim. Like, scary hours. Like, so many hours that if my therapist were to take a look she might actually raise serious concerns about my health.

Anyway, where were we? Oh yeah, if you're a fan of classic RPGs like The Witcher 3 and Skyrim, why not try an awesome piece of work that combines the two into one attractive package?

A Witcher's Adventure is a really impressive mod from Gardden that takes elements from The Witcher games and brings them into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This includes brand-new quests and weapons that are inspired by Geralt's universe. It's a crossover I didn't realise I needed.

There are three main quests, all of which revolve around being a Witcher and hunting monsters. There are also special Witcher-related recipes to discover, and you can even use the Witcher's Signs just as you would normally cast a spell in Skyrim. Each sign has a unique regular effect, plus an alternate.

As if that wasn't enough for you, there's a brand-new skill tree filled with Witcher-specific perks to really help sell the feeling you're playing an official Witcher RPG.

This is as close as I think we'll ever come to seeing a first-person Witcher-developed RPG by a studio outside of CD Projekt, and I have to say A Witcher's Adventure has really given me a taste for something more. I love playing as Geralt, of course, but the ability to create and roleplay as my very own custom Witcher adds a level of immersion you don't quite get when you're running around Skellige looking for Ciri.

Anyway, you can get the mod downloaded from here!
