Henry Cavill announces first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso

Henry Cavill has announced that he's expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.

What a joyous day it is turning out to be for the internet’s unproblematic favourites. First, Keanu Reeves is cast as Shadow The Hedgehog and then Henry Cavill announces that he’s expecting his first child.

It’s exactly the kind of dopamine-filled wholesome news we like to hear. Whether he’s nerding out over his latest PC build or singing the praises of Warhammer, Henry Cavill has captured the hearts of those of us who might describe ourselves as ‘chronically online’.

He may be an ex-Witcher, ex-superhero and incredibly handsome, but so too does Henry Cavill give major ‘He’s just like us’ energy.

You can understand then why fans are so pleased to hear this latest announcement. Cavill is expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.

Cavill revealed the news at the premiere of his new film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, of all places.

He told Access Hollywood, “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.”

Cavill most recently appeared in Argylle alongside Dua Lipa.

Viscuso is the vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, the production company behind hits like Five Nights at Freddy’s, The LEGO Movie, and It, in addition to the upcoming Minecraft, The Sims, Until Dawn, and BioShock films.

The duo made their relationship public back in 2021.

For those of you wondering when you can next see Cavill on your screens, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is set to release this Friday, on 19 April.

It also stars Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, Alan Ritchson, and Eiza González, telling the story of the British Special Operations Executive, a covert organisation formed by Churchill during WWII.

It’s the latest effort from writer and director Guy Ritchie, a previous collaborator of Henry Cavill. The duo will team up again for action thriller In The Grey which is due to launch in 2025.

Cavill is also amongst the star-studded cast for Squadron 42, an upcoming video game set within the Star Citizen universe.

You won’t see the actor appear in Netflix’s The Witcher anymore though, with Cavill now having handed over the baton to Liam Hemsworth.

GAMINGbible wishes both Henry and Natalie its congratulations on the happy news.
