You Can Win An Xbox Series X That Looks Like Claptrap

You Can Win An Xbox Series X That Looks Like Claptrap

You could actually win this bad boy.

If you haven't actually pre-ordered one of the upcoming next-gen consoles, you might have a bit of a job getting your hands on one in time for launch. The good news is that with just a few short days to go until the Xbox Series X launches around the world, you've got a chance to win your very own custom console inspired by Borderlands.

2K Games has tamed up the amazingly talented Xboxpope, whose work I'm certain you'll have seen before. Take a quick look over their Twitter page to see all of the incredible custom designs they've been working on for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While the majority of these are just for fun and will never be made in an official capacity, 2K has made it so that a gorgeous Series X modeled after the iconic CL4P-TP, better known as Claptrap, is now a real, tangible console.

Take a look at it below. It really is something special.

The bad news is that only one Claptrap Xbox Series X exists in the entire world, but you could be the one to win it. 2K confirmed that we'll have a chance to win it very soon, although it's not entirely clear what we need to do to be in with a chance or how we can enter. More details will follow in November 9th, and I suspect that this competition will only be available for UK residents, as the competition has only been tweeted out by the 2K United Kingdom account.

While I've never been a huge fan of the vast majority of custom consoles out there, I kinda love this one for the fact it's so utterly ridiculous. Yes, I hate Claptrap, but I also wouldn't mind getting to stick him in the corner of my living room if I could use him to play games.

While GAMINGbible's very own Xbox Series X doesn't resemble a classic video game character, we have enjoyed spending a lot of time with the next-gen console. You can find our full thoughts on the Series X and its "breathtaking speed" right here in our in-depth review of the hardware.
