xQc goes in on viewers saying Amouranth abuse claims were a stunt

Recently, Amouranth shared screenshots of her husband's obsessive behaviour over her finances and career.

Twitch streamer Félix "xQc" Lengyel has hit out at his viewers who asserted that the recent distressing stream from Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa was a stunt, even issuing a permanent ban to a fan who didn't believe her story.

On appearances alone, Siragusa was a single woman who was not only financially independent but savvy too, investing in smart options in order to fund her dream of her own animal sanctuary. However, one of her streams over the weekend shattered this illusion as the streamer revealed that she was in fact married and her husband allegedly abused her and her meteoric rise to fame.

Screenshots showed that he would threaten to leave her with only a fraction of her savings if she didn't do as she was told, and that he even said that he would kill her animals while she spoke to him on the phone. Fortunately, this stream was something of a wake-up call for her husband who is now seeking help, and the streamer has secured legal counsel. Siragusa has control over her own finances, crucially, and she said that she could now wear the clothes that she wanted to.

The Twitch community has rallied round Siragusa, voicing their support and even conducting welfare checks in the midst of the uncertainty. While Lengyel was watching Siragusa's most recent stream, some viewers in his chat weren't so convinced. “Are you guys f*cking stupid or some sh*t?” he asked those who tried to undermine what the woman had been through. “You’re so f*cking dumb. Holy sh*t, you sound so f*cking stupid.”

“‘It was a stunt lmao,’” he read out one comment in his stream's chat. “I’m going to give you a f*cking perma-ban, dude. You’re f*cking annoying as sh*t. I can’t.” It is an unfortunate fact that these detractors are not the only ones saying that Siragusa's experiences were not real. Daniel "Keemstar" Keem said that it was obvious that she had suffered abuse, however, she was at fault for using her pretend relationship status to exploit "[viewers'] low IQ to fill [her] pockets."

Charming stuff. A police investigation is apparently ongoing, according to Natalia "Alinity" Mogollon, and Siragusa herself has said that she now feels "free."
