Call Of Duty is getting Nicki Minaj as a playable Operator

Having guest playable characters in the Call of Duty franchise is nothing new, but the next one in line could be the biggest one yet.

In recent years we’ve seen cameos from other franchises appear in Call of Duty including Michael Myers of Halloween, Ghostface of Scream, and Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As for real-life personalities, Snoop Dogg and Lionel Messi are also no strangers to the Call of Duty franchise.

However, according to an industry insider, singer, rapper and songwriter Nicki Minaj could be the next to join the ranks of the popular military shooter. In a tweet shared on Reddit by user TheEternalGazed, ‘insider’ Alaix claims that Minaj will apparently also be joined by rapper, 21 Savage.

As you can imagine, fans have been taken somewhat by surprise (even for this series) and many are wondering how this potential collaboration will work out. Recently it was announced that Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir from Amazon series The Boys, will be playable characters in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare II.

“How the f**k has Call of Duty turned into a game where you can be Homelander blowing up Nicki Minaj?” asked BGunn_1996. “Lionel Messi running over Nicki Minaj in a jeep to loot her money and bring Homelander back to life could genuinely happen in a game. This is truly the next generation,” said EmSoLow.

“Next-gen gaming indeed. Fortnite had John Wick destroying Ariana Grande and Scarlet Witch and that just doesn't compute in my head,” explained woahwoahvicky. “Can't wait to be twerked to death,” exclaimed PER2D2. That all being said, as with all rumours and speculation, it should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.

In recent Call of Duty news, a multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is in development and another insider claims that Call of Duty in 2024 will take place during the Gulf War.
