LEGO PS1 set is a thing of absolute beauty

LEGO PS1 set is a thing of absolute beauty

This PlayStation inspired LEGO set is making me nostalgic.

LEGO has realised something very important in the past couple of years. Adults want to play with LEGO too and boy, they have delivered some incredible sets. PlayStation fans have an idea though for a build that we’re yet to see hit the shelves.

There really is something for everyone. If you’re a fan of The Office, there’s an incredible Dunder Mifflin set which includes 15 minifigures, so essentially the entirety of the cast. Did you enjoy Horizon Forbidden West? There’s a very cool Tallneck set I need to get my hands on. Here at GAMINGbible, we’re also big fans of the Bowser set that went down a storm on social media last year. Fans would love to see a LEGO PlayStation 1 though.

Take a look at these impressive LEGO weapon reloads.

LEGO has recently begun creating gaming console sets. In fact, we had the chance to review the Atari 2600 set, writing, “There is no denying that what you end up with is incredible, really, a terrific tribute to an iconic gaming console that is so much fun to have on hand, and on display.” Reddit user MOCingbird has suggested though that a PlayStation 1 themed set could go down pretty well.

To accompany the suggestion, MOCingbird created a mock-up of the idea and all I can say is yes, yes, yes. This feels like a no brainer. Plenty are onboard with the proposal. User sdannyc wrote, “I’m genuinely surprised that LEGO hasn’t released a set for each major console over the generations, “ while dev_locs added, “Great idea! I’d like a GameCube set too.” Nightangel8900 said, “I think we need all the major consoles in LEGO.”

In case you missed it, an official Dungeons & Dragons set is on the way. It looks very cool but the best part about this set is that it can also be used as a playable map. Take my money now.
