We’ve made it to the final stretch - Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be out tomorrow (16 November). Congratulations to everyone for getting through the wait.
The game is available to preload now, which should hopefully help speed up the process of actually being able to play it on release day, since the download size is ridiculously large. That is if you manage to get your head around the installation process, as it’s proven to be a bit more confusing than you’d expect.

On paper, there seems to be plenty for CoD fans to be excited for in the Warzone sequel - it’s claimed that nukes will be making a return, allowing players to destroy the whole map if they manage to get their hands on one. There’s also the new DMZ mode to try out (which, so far, has seen mixed reactions from fans). However, as reported by Dexerto, popular streamer Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff isn’t convinced at all.

In a recent stream, he was asked whether or not he missed playing CoD like he used to: “Do [I] miss CoD at all? Nah. I think for a long time, playing Call of Duty, I was in like a weird place where I really wanted to continue competing but I felt like I couldn’t because the game was just so bad,” he said. “There were so many hackers […], the stream was so big and I was just getting hacked on every tournament.”
He continued, discussing Warzone 2.0’s upcoming release: “I don’t know if it’s going to be any good man. Hacking is still a problem, a big problem. Battle royale does not show promise.”
It’s worth keeping in mind here that NICKMERCS (as well as a number of other streamers and content creators) have already been able to give the Warzone sequel a try, so he’s had some experience. That said, it remains to be seen how big of an issue cheating and hacking will be.
