The... creation is courtesy of Cammy3DPrints, an Etsy seller from the UK who started offering a range of builds because they gained a lot of free time due to the pandemic. Hey, some of us took up a new hobby, some of us learned a language, and this person started printing very beefy Pokémon. Each to their own.

Ultra Swole Pikachu (that's what they're called) is made of biodegradable FDM PLA plastic, and after being primed in white, is initially shipped in its constituent parts. The buyer then enjoys the painting process, which means you'll even be able to colour it in its shiny variant if you fancy. A shiny Ultra Swole Pikachu statue. Perhaps, the world isn't quite ready for that level of undiluted, unbridled power.
As well as Pikachu, Cammy3DPrints offers massively muscly Bulbasaur, Charmander, Diglett, Mewtwo, and Squirtle statues. The Mewtwo is frankly frightening and I wouldn't want them glaring over my desk while I work. Apologies. Diglett is a little less intimidating and is actually hilarious, while the cute faces of the Kanto starters slapped on a buff bod is weird. If you're still looking for gifts for the Pokémon champion in your life, the shop also has a number of sweet and small statues to paint, like Wooloo, Cubone, and even a Togepi egg cup. Plus, they're a lot less pricey than those $100 Poké Ball replicas. Neato.
Yet, like Mega Evolutions, they're the sort to think that bigger is better, then these ginormous plushies will be just the ticket. There's a super-squidgy and super-soft Ditto chair, which looks utterly out of place in this very conservatively styled living space. Or, for those with a love for gentle giants, this Dragonite is over a metre tall and set to release some time in 2021. It would still count for a holiday gift, but you'd have to wrap and tag the receipt, which is still exciting. And, with no further ado for my personal favourite of the bunch, there is an official Metapod cocoon that you can clamber inside whenever the world is too much.
