Popular YouTuber and philanthropist, Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson, is currently in the middle of an intense lawsuit with his own burger brand.

Currently sitting at around 172 million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast has quickly become the largest, and highest-earning, content creator on the platform. His content ranges from publicity stunts, and giving people expensive gifts, as well as wholesome projects like helping deaf children hear again.

The MrBeast Burger brand was launched in late 2020, and has come under fire recently for selling raw and inedible burgers to its customer. As a result, MrBeast has taken legal action to shut the brand down for good.

However, in a surprising turn of events, the YouTube superstar is now being accused of being a “bully”, who’s allegedly driven by his own greed.

The Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC), has now responded to the case, describing the lawsuit as "bullying tactics".

In a statement provided to the Daily Mail, the VDC said: "The complaint is riddled with false statements and inaccuracies and is a thinly-veiled attempt to distract from Mr. Donaldson’s and Beast Investments’ breaches of the agreements between the parties."

It went on to say: “Mr. Donaldson recently attempted to negotiate a new deal to serve his own monetary interests … When VDC refused to accede to his bullying tactics to give up more of the company to him, he filed this ill-advised and meritless lawsuit seeking to undermine the MrBeast Burger brand and terminate his existing contractual obligations without cause."

MrBeast has seen a huge spike in notoriety over the years, largely due to his increasingly large-scale video projects and acts of kindness, however the VDC believes the creator owes some of this success to the burger brand. It said: "Mr. Donaldson’s notoriety has grown exponentially over the life of the MrBeast Burger brand, in part because of the MrBeast Burger brand itself."

MrBeast’s representatives are yet to respond to the allegations at the time of writing.
