I’m sure there isn’t a day gone by where a PlayStation user hasn’t thought about Days Gone in some capacity, as despite its fans it’s seemingly never getting a sequel.

We sat down with the cast of Fallout to see who they’d snog, marry and irradiate if they were stuck in a nuclear wasteland, check out what they said below

Days Gone was a zombie-survival game that saw the player outrun a terrifying undead horde on a motorcycle, in what could only be described as Resident Evil meets Sons Of Anarchy.

While a sequel is seemingly out of the question it hasn’t stopped fans from campaigning for one, as well as replaying the game’s PC port with a multitude of mods added on.

The mod we’re talking about today can be downloaded right now on NexusMods, and gives the survival game a fresh coat of paint using Unreal Engine 4, as well as iron out some of the technical issues.

Some of the more noteworthy features include better reflections, improved shadows, lighting, tweaks to performance and it even eliminates some of the stuttering that many players complained about on launch.

The mod’s creator confidently claims the difference the mod makes to the game “is night and day,” and we’re inclined to agree.

So if you’ve been playing the game on PC, or are considering playing it for the first time, consider adding this mod to your game before you play if your hardware supports it.

That being said there’s only so much you can do with visual and gameplay improvements, so it’s a shame the series potentially isn’t continuing with a new game, because by God it deserves to.
