The Witcher 3: Ciri's Sole Memento mod adds heartwarming new quest

A new mod for The Witcher 3 adds a new quest for Ciri and Geralt to undertake, provided the player has beaten the main story.

The Witcher 3 is still as popular as it was when it first released, if not more so thanks to some free publicity from Henry Cavill during The Witcher Netflix show’s press events.

Ciri deserves her own game, CD Projekt Red make it happen!

It’s widely considered to be one of the greatest games ever made, so good in fact that it’s somehow ruined other games for certain people. Fans regularly praise the jaw-droppingly brilliant story, incredible and memorable side content like The Bloody Baron’s questline, and DLC that puts other games to shame.

While a full playthrough can take roughly 56 hours according to HowLongToBeat, 187 hours if you’re looking to experience everything the game has to offer, it’s not endless.

While you could happily replay it as many times as you wish, it’s always nice to experience something new every now and again, and luckily, the mod community regularly cooks up new content and expansions, like the topic of today’s discussion.

Titled Ciri's Sole Memento, created by wiggo, the mod takes Ciri and Geralt on a brand new quest, presumably to find an object of great value to Ciri. The quest begins in the Dandelion tavern in Novigrad, but only if you’ve beaten the main story with one of the good endings.

The mod’s creator hasn’t shared details on what we can expect to see or do during the quest, but you can guarantee there’ll be plenty of monsters in dire need of a slaying.

Since The Witcher 4 aims to be a completely new story in the series, no longer focusing on Geralt (and possibly not Ciri either), fans will likely want to hang onto the beloved characters for as long as they possibly can.

There’s currently no release window for The Witcher 4, nor are there any details on where the story could be going or who it’ll involve.
