God Of War Ragnarök is easily one of the best games to have launched, not just in 2022 but ever. So, is it any surrpise then that it's expansion DLC is being praised as being “unbelievably wonderful”, with some fans claiming it’s even better than the base game?
As fans of the God of War franchise, we made sure our consoles were primed and ready for the DLC – it’s been a long time coming, but warriors must always be prepared. We believe we did Kratos proud with that.

Our eagerness wasn’t just because we love the series, but because God Of War Ragnarök: Valhalla is said to have a bigger campaign than Modern Warfare 3, a so-called “full game” you actually have to pay for. Really puts it into perspective how hard the devs have worked to deliver something awe-inspiring to the fandom.
The OP isn’t alone in giving the DLC such high praise, others have also been quick to agree. “I'm really surprised how much content there is. It's awesome. Especially THAT moment holy sh*t,” said oO_Gero_Oo, and while we can’t give specifics of “that moment” without spoiling the expansion for you, allow us to just say you’ll go wild for it.
Assuming you’re a long-serving fan, that is. The big moments in the DLC will still be impressive, but its link to previous titles is what makes the scene such a powerful one, as explained by one gamer, “They’re still important moments and their value is appropriately conveyed… but you definitely won’t get the “wow” factor everyone’s talking about without some connection to the OG trilogy.”
Now would be the time to go back if you haven’t played those original titles already, though time is of the essence so as not to see any spoilers; social media is rife with them.
