The CEO of EA wants more Cal Kestis Star Wars games, which basically confirms another Star Wars Jedi game is on the way.
Following the success of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, it’s only natural to expect a third game to round off a trilogy. The game’s ending definitely left the story open for a continuation, though where the galaxy will take Cal Kestis and his friends next is a mystery.

That being said, EA is clearly considering possibilities for a third game, as its CEO has expressed interest in seeing Cal Kestis featured in additional projects.

Speaking during a recent first-quarter earnings call, EA’s CEO Andrew `Wilson discussed the company’s ups and downs, including its recent success with the Star Wars brand.
Wilson said: "Our teams are always thinking about what are the new experiences that we might be able to create. Certainly, I would love to see more in the Jedi franchise over time. It's just an extraordinary game that tells an extraordinary story.”
He went on to say: "We might be a little biased, but our sense based on the feedback we've been getting from our community and the quality of that product, it's one of the great beats in the Star Wars galaxy this year and will likely continue to be a very meaningful part of that galaxy for many years to come."
It’ll be interesting to see how the Star Wars Jedi series competes with the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws, which will move away from the conflict between the Jedi and The Empire and focus more on the galaxy’s criminal underworld. Outlaws is being developed by Ubisoft and will boast a seamless open world that’ll rival the Assassin’s Creed games in terms of size and scale.

In other news, Jedi: Survivor will soon make its way onto Xbox One and PS4. The ports are currently in active development despite initially being skipped so the game could utilise the full potential of current-gen hardware.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
