Star Wars Outlaws fans are already thirsting over the 'hot' new droid, seriously

Star Wars fans think that the droid seen in the Outlaws cover art is hot, and honestly, we get it.

Yesterday’s Xbox Games Showcase was full of surprises - in amongst the Fable and Avowed trailers (which were super exciting), we also got the official reveal trailer for Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars game. Where the heck did that come from?

Star Wars Outlaws stars scoundrel Kay Vess in an adventure set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and it’s looking really promising. Well, based on the CGI trailer, anyway - the gameplay is going to be revealed later today during the Ubisoft Forward stream, so let’s hope that it meets gamers’ expectations. Regardless of what any of the in-game footage looks like though, it seems that fans are already sold on the game for one weird reason - the hot droid on the box art.

Take a look at the trailer for Star Wars Outlaws below.

That’s right, the internet thinks that Outlaws’ droid character is hot. I’m not saying that you have to agree, but you can see where they’re all coming from, right? The trench coat, the swagger, and the overall rizz of this droid is undeniable.

As GamesRadar+ reports, fans haven’t been holding back from showing their thirst for the droid on Twitter: “How did they make a commando droid look so hot,” @CT9904 wrote. “I’m gonna say what we’re all thinking, that droid is unreasonably hot,” @Robobluey tweeted. “Okay hear me out...the droid is HOT,” posted @KaitlynRedWing.

On the other hand, hot droid nonbelievers think that the coat is doing all the heavy lifting: “HE'S NOT HOT THEY JUST PUT A TRENCH COAT ON A COMMANDO DROID,” one tweeted. “THE DROID ISN’T HOT, HE JUST HAS A F**KING COAT!!!” wrote another. Personally, I think the droid's charms go beyond its cool fashion sense.

Anyway, one big question remains: will we be able to romance the droid in Outlaws? No pressure, Ubisoft, but it looks like you’re going to have a lot of disappointed players if not.
