Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's campaign is on the shorter side

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's campaign is on the shorter side

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's campaign length has been confirmed by players - and it's on the shorter side.

With Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League finally out in early access, players are getting stuck into the story amidst the controversy. However, many are finding out that the campaign is a bit on the short side.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is the latest Rocksteady title taking the internet by storm and not in a good way. The game has been the center of multiple controversies including its use of a constant online connection, its game breaking bug at launch and some story content that die-hard superhero fans are, well, not a fan of.

With refund requests flooding in, it is up to the players that are left to get stuck into the story. However, many are finding out there is not a lot of story, making the campaign sit on the shorter side.

According to IGN’s Destin Legarie, the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League main campaign can be completed in around nine hours. This is quite short and just another reason to leave fans displeased with Rocksteady’s efforts. Destin went on to claim that after capturing footage for the game, he hit the end credits after just nine to 10 hours of gameplay and he made sure to add that he took his time.

“It looks like Suicide Squad is going to clock in around nine to 10 hours based on my capture time. Probably a little shorter if you don't do some boss fights with under-leveled characters,” he wrote. “I'm guessing as I have eight hours 53 minutes of capture, and only the 'final' boss to defeat. Will update once I have accurate numbers.”

An update came a few hours later with his confirmation of a 10-hour campaign.

Despite this disappointing news, it is worth noting that the main campaign is not the only content in the game. As well as getting involved in side quests, Suicide Squad is a live-service game which means it will regularly receive new updates and content, including an upcoming season that will introduce the Joker.
