After a rocky pre-launch, unstable launch and an equally as tough few weeks since, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is still showing no signs of improvement after it has been revealed the Rocksteady game has hit a tragic new low.
Launched back on 30 January, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was expected to be an exciting new take on the anti-hero genre. However, with multiple delays and a game-breaking bug on day one which resulted in major spoilers being leaked online, it has had less than a smooth launch period.

Now just a few weeks on, Valve statistics have revealed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League already has fewer active concurrent players on Steam than all Batman Arkham games combined despite the latter last receiving a major instalment in 2015.

With Kill the Justice League currently sitting at a 3.7 user score on Metacritic, these poor numbers are perhaps unsurprising but it is still expected to be a massive blow for Rocksteady who are still expected to keep updating the live-service title.
The numbers are so poor in fact that the shooter game recently hit a mere 916 concurrent player count on 15-16 February according to SteamDB data. In comparison, over the last 24-hours, Batman: Arkham Knight managed to peak at 4,373 concurrent players. However, this could be attributed to the ongoing Steam sale celebrating all Batman titles.
With Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s first season expected to launch in March, it remains to be seen if the Rocksteady title will regain any popularity. However, with the player count continuing to decline, the developers will have to pull out all the stops to pull players back.
