Vin Diesel Attempts To Squash Dwayne Johnson Beef Once And For All

Vin Diesel Attempts To Squash Dwayne Johnson Beef Once And For All

Johnson and Diesel fell out during the Fast and Furious filming, but Diesel wants him back.

Vin Diesel has put a pretty legendary post on Instagram, encouraging the feud between him and Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson to end. The actor posted a picture of the two Hollywood stars with a heartfelt little monologue about legacy and finishing the Fast and Furious series together following The Rock’s absence from F9

In case you missed the details of the feud, it seems that The Rock didn’t appreciate the way that the Fast films worked. We have previously reported that he said he didn’t have a problem with his female cast members, but it was a different story for certain male actors. Vin Diesel in comparison said that the filming process for the Fast films was hard and that “It was a tough character to embody, the Hobbs character” putting the feud down to the high standards and demands of the films.

Here is the trailer for F9, the most recent film in the series...

But now Diesel is extending an invite to Johnson, to try and convince him to return to the mainline series and finish what they started. His post on Instagram says: “My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come.

"Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfil my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love... but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle, you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can't be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfil your destiny.”

What an invite eh? I mean if someone wrote something half as nice and poetic for me I’d at least consider going back into talks about the film… if I were a Hollywood superstar, that is.
