Seriously, if we weren’t already busy enough with the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Diablo IV, we have Final Fantasy XVI right around the corner and Starfield lurking on the horizon with its absurd amount of planets to explore. And that’s just the 2023 games - as always, subscription services are constantly flooding us with older freebies that are also too good to miss.

As ComicBook reports, right now, those subscribed to Xbox Live Gold can claim the excellent action-adventure The Vale: Shadow of the Crown at no extra cost. In case you’re unfamiliar, the title was developed by indie studio Falling Squirrel, and puts players into the shoes of a blind adventurer. The audio-based game is fully accessible to those who are visually impaired - it was nominated for the Innovation in Accessibility award at The Game Awards 2021, and although it lost to Forza Horizon 5, it later won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Video Game Narrative.
