Gamers amazed by X-rated content in classic WWE games

Gamers are just now finding out that classic WWE games are far more X-rated than they remember.

It’s true that we view our favourite games of yesteryear through rose-tinted lenses. I remember thinking that The Simpsons: Hit & Run boasted peak graphics back in the day, and it probably did then, but upon recently finding my old PS2 in the attic, I loaded the game up and uh, yeah. It was not what I was expecting.

It’s probably the reason why remakes are all the rage right now. I do love to indulge in an old favourite from time to time, but I’m also for experiencing classics with modern gameplay. If you can have the best of both worlds, why not? One game fans would love to see remastered is SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain and one WWE star is actually very interested in making that a reality. Speaking of WWE games, gamers are just now finding out that their classic favourites are more X-rated than they remember.

Fancy a trip to memory lane? Take a look at our favourite PlayStation 2 titles.

As reported by our friends at LADbible, WWE games were pretty, let’s say, bold. One scene has recently gone viral starring Triple H and Torrie Wilson chatting in the locker room. Torrie says, “Maybe I could escort you down to the ring tonight and later, if you want, we could team up again.” Shortly after, the duo strip down and go in for a kiss.

Oh, but the story continues. Torrie and Triple H then move their ‘session’ to the shower where Torrie’s bra is flung on the floor. Yes, they had shower sex. Twitter user ilovemacncheeze wrote, “This was the exact cutscene that got my PlayStation 2 confiscated by my parents,” while dylandangler added, “I remember playing this when I was like 12.”

User flowz33 said, “I remember looking over my shoulder making sure my parents wouldn’t see this.” We can’t be too surprised at the scene. After all, WWE used to have ‘Bra and Panties’ matches. We’ve evolved since then though, thankfully.
