Brazilian 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Trailer Confirms Returning Spider-Men

Brazilian 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Trailer Confirms Returning Spider-Men

It's a blink and you'll miss it moment.

The hype for Spider-Man: No Way Home is hotting up to supernova levels, and this Brazilian version of the newest trailer seemingly shows that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Macguire really are returning to their roles

In the English trailer, the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sandman, Lizard and Electro all appear as a result of the corrupted spell that Doctor Strange casts in order to prevent anyone ever realising that Peter Parker is the one under Spider-Man’s mask. That’s one heck of a sentence for us to chew over so let’s take a moment to watch it once again:

"What people will be really surprised about is that it’s not fun, this film," said actor Tom Holland in an interview with Total Film. "It’s dark and it’s sad, and it’s going to be really affecting. You’re going to see characters that you love go through things that you would never wish for them to go through… I really don’t think fans are at all ready for what they’ve put together.”

Alright. Be it as it may, fans are extremely ready to see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire reprise their roles as per the rumours. Holland has been adamant that the actors aren’t in the movie and Garfield had an intriguing answer to the question of whether or not he has appeared on the set of No Way Home. However, the Brazilian version of the newest trailer has something strange about it — and no, we don’t mean the Master of Mystic Arts.

As Sandman, Lizard and Electro advance and our hero leaps into the air, the English version of the trailer cuts to the next scene showing Spider-Man acrobatically evading their attacks. In the Brazilian version, Sandman, Lizard and Electro advance on Spider-Man and Lizard is apparently hit, causing him to turn. Take a look:

Combine this with the photos of Andrew Garfield in the Spidey suit against what looks like railings or scaffolding, and fans reckon this is the point where he arrives to save Parker’s bacon. Of course, we can’t say for certain but some are already having fun with the possible explanations behind this change.
