Warzone 2.0's third-person mode looks like the best way to play

A happy Warzone 2.0 eve to all who celebrate. That’s right, Warzone 2.0 officially launches tomorrow on 16 November and needless to say, we’re excited. The game will take us to the brand new city of Al Mazrah, located in the fictional Republic of Adal region. Already, plenty of highly-anticipated features have been announced.

The free-to-play battle royale will include a tactical nuke that allows players to completely obliterate the map - which certainly makes it sound like classic killstreak rewards are coming back. We also know that Gulag is returning but with an intriguing new twist. That’s not all. If you’ve played Modern Warfare II, you may have experienced the new third-person mode. The good news is that it’s also coming to Warzone 2.0 - and it might just be the best way to play the game.

YouTuber ModernWarzone has posted what they’re claiming is the ‘World’s first Warzone 2.0 third-person win,’ after being invited out by Infinity Ward and Activision to sample the game early - including the new DMZ mode. The creator wrote, “We managed to get back-to-back wins and the first third-person win in the world, cementing ourselves in Call of Duty history.” Let’s take a look, shall we?

Okay, that’s convinced me to give the new third-person mode a go - not that I particularly needed convincing. FPS have never been my strong suit. Over on Twitter, ModernWarzone further elaborated on their experience with the game, writing, “I didn’t enjoy Warzone 2.0 at COD NEXT. I absolutely LOVED it this past week. The changes they made based on our feedback from NEXT really makes the game so much better and more enjoyable to play. I think Warzone 2.0 will thrive.”

I’ll warn you, the file size of Warzone 2.0 is reportedly over 115GB so you’re going to need both time and space to install this lad. I shouldn’t imagine that’s going to detract anyone though.
