Warzone 2 XP exploit has players reaching max level in one match

Warzone 2 XP exploit has players reaching max level in one match

This is definitely getting patched

Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has been out for just under a week, and it's fair to say the free-to-play battle royale has had some... teething problems.

This was to be expected, of course. It's why Activision made the decision to temporarily take Call Of Duty: Warzone offline - so it could properly address any issues with Warzone 2.0 and get them fixed sooner rather than later.

I say this because I must once again stress that the exploit I'm about to discuss with you may well have been patched by the time you read it. As was the case with the wild Modern Warfare 2 exploit earlier this month, this particular trick is still doable at the time of writing. Okay? Okay. Let's continue.

As spotted by Inverse, Warzone 2.0 currently has a weapon XP exploit that's allowing players to rack up silly amounts of XP in a single match. So how does it work?

The first thing you'll want to do is start a new game of Warzone 2.0, preferably with friends so you have an easier time of it. The exploit is dependant on completing Safecracker contracts, so you'll also want to try and land in an area with lots of them around.

Naturally, it's important to make sure you're equipped with the weapon you actually want to level up before you really get stuck in. Although if you're not that fussy, you can just get going. Once you have all the gear/friends you need, it's a simple matter of chaining the Safecracker contracts while grabbing all the gear and cash you can between safes. At the moment each subsequent contract results in more XP, although many players fear this is a bug that will be patched very soon, so take advantage while you can.

Once you've destroyed enough safes and picked up enough gear and cash along the way you should be carrying a small fortune. Ideally around $25,000 for the next phase.

This final step? Buy as many armour plates as you can afford. Again, this is very likely a bug, but any purchase you make at a Buy Station results in XP for the weapon you're holding. Since you've got $25,000 and armour plates are just $400 a pop, you can rack up huge amounts of XP in no time at all. And this is on top of all the XP you got from cracking safes. Get out there and give it a go, because it's definitely not sticking around for long!
